Zero Blemish BB Cream

This BB Cream was on my radar last year, as the brand is endorsed by Kim So Hyun (and it previously was endorsed by Suzy). Although I may not look as beautiful as those two I would still be attracted to buying anything from tn (hurray for having teen skin) and so here you are, a review for this BB Cream.

Packaging: Nothing out of the ordinary but cute packaging is a nice touch (I like my pink colours) and I like how the box isn't full plastic but it's cardboard printed and inside the BB cream is a cute plastic tube with an average opening so be careful when you squeeze the BB cream because the littlest squeeze can already bring out a lot.

Anything special/Ingredients: Since my skills in Korean is really weak I obviously can't read the ingredients and what not. However on the box it does state two ingredients (P.S. The translations are from Google Translation and if not, from me) and they are 'Tahiti Vanilla Bean' which helps sooth the skin and makes your skin flexible(?) and 'Sweet Almond' which helps protect your skin and keeps your skin healthy which are all good points. Also something special is that it is waterproof! I was trying to wash this BB cream off with water (which is supposed to wash off) and I scrubbed and scrubbed but it still didn't come off till I used cleanser.

Scent: In all honesty when I squeezed out the BB cream and smelt it, it smelled like the glue sticks I would use back in primary school. Now since I really don't mind that smell I never found it horrifying but to those that really dislike the scent of glue sticks this is something you should look out for. However, thankfully, the scent fades away once you blend the BB cream in.

Texture & Coverage: I know the texture looks rather dry on my darker skin but it's actually quite smooth when you apply it on your face (I usually apply with a sponge so that might be it too) and it feels light so I don't feel like I'm wearing BB cream at all. As for the coverage it's quite light and indeed it doesn't fully cover dark spots or sun spots, but it does cover up any red you have on your face so that's good if your face gets red easily.

Sorry for changing the background from white to black but that was because on white paper the oil was hard to see even though I could obviously see it on a black background...;v;

Oil Control: Anyway, the oil control isn't horrifying nor is it extremely good but once again it really does depend on your skin type. If you're the oily skin type then most likely after 5 hours your face might start looking really oily but if not then your face will look okay.

Once again I tested this BB cream at school (which goes on for 6 hours and it takes me another hour to return home which = 7 hours with this BB cream on) and there wasn't really much oil produced as I feared and I even asked my friend to check during school and she said that there was very little oil on my face so that's a good thing!

Final thoughts: I feel that this BB cream was really worth it because it doesn't fade away easily nor does it produce too much oil to the point where you look like you've ran a marathon and I feel that this BB cream is a really good one and I would probably buy this BB cream again if I have the chance to.

Pros:

  • Light texture
  • Waterproof
  • Lasts a long time
  • Doesn't look oily on my face even after 7 hours+
  • Good for sensitive skin
  • Doesn't create extra acne or anything
Cons:
  • Smells like glue stick if you smell it (unless you like the scent of glue sticks then that's another thing)
  • The darkest shade is quite light so if you have dark skin then it might not be for you
  • Hard to find

Thank you for reading!
