Honey Melting Tint (Bitter Rose)

I feel bad since I've delayed this review for ages since I was busy with school and everything.

However thankfully it is now the holidays and I think I can churn out lots of reviews till I run out of all products to review! (or so I wish aha)

Believe it or not I actually really enjoy buying lip products for no reason whatsoever. However I'm horrible at gauging the effectiveness of lip products since I never put much thought into it so I avoid reviewing it haha.

But I will try my best and make a good review for this tint!

Packaging: There's no box for this product so it's just a simple lip tint with a seal and sticker with the price tag & product details. I have no complaint since simplicity is always nice but I'm used to cute designs on lip products so I find this a bit plain.

Scent: Funny enough, following the title of this colour, the scent that this tint has is a rose scent. For me I don't really mind the rose scent since it fades away when it's on your lips so the scent only really does show off when you directly smell the tint.

Colour: The colour is a dark rose pink colour and I think it's a really beautiful colour if you want to look sophisticated (if you apply it heavily) or just a nice product to add colour to your lips (if you apply it lightly). Like most tints, the intensity of the colour depends on how much you apply and what colour your lips are to begin with.

The only small issue I have is that the colour looks somewhat different from the promotional pictures...or maybe it's my camera.

Colour on my lips: Sob the colour that my camera takes is completely different from real life so I'm a bit disappointed OTL However here is a photo as requested(??) by Eva! Haha

Lasting time + How it feels: The lasting time for this is actually quite long. Like most tints it usually just stains into a lighter colour after you've drunk/eaten something. This tint lasts for around 4-5 hours for me and even when I had eaten black pepper noodles (the sauce is really thick) and I wiped my lips so many times the colour still stayed on my lips!

As for how it feels, like the jelly tint this tint has a smooth application and it feels really light on my lips so I'm not even aware I'm wearing anything. This tint also really moisturizes my lips and the moisturizing feeling does stay on for a longer time than the jelly tint before you have to apply balm.

(Mini) Waterproof test: I had time doing this review so I decided to see how this tint would fare under water. I'm glad to say that this tint is a tough one to budge since the colour didn't even fade in anyway even though I put it under running water!

Final Thoughts: I really like this tint and I can see why it's a popular tint. However I rarely do pull off sophisticated looks so it's a bit hard for me to use this tint to it's fullest...so I might buy other colours instead since I'm really satisfied with this one haha. To anyone looking for a good lip tint that has good colour payoff and moisturizing effects, this is the tint for you!
