Memebox Special #11 Cacao Cosmetics [Unboxing]

Hello to people that read my blog! It's been a while! 

I'm sorry for my delay in blogging, but I've been hosting a Japanese student at my house for a whole week and in that week I also managed to catch a cold...haha talk about great luck. But now I'm recovering and the student has left (I miss her lots already, she was such a wonderful person QvQ) so I can do a small post about the unboxing of this Memebox I got during the week.

P.S. I am sorry for this bad flash photography & editing but the only time I had to take these photos were at night before I messed around with the things inside the box haha...

This is the first time that I've ordered a Memebox and the only comment I made about this was "Look! It's so pink!". I love the package so much and I like how it has a bag with padding instead of just having the box sent over, it makes me feel like the package is safer.

This Memebox costed $23 (not including shipping) but I only paid $7 (including shipping) as I used a $15 off code + some of my membership points so that was a great discount! But as for whether the products are worth it or not, you'll have to see for yourself!

So when you open the box there's a sheet that has the product details and retail prices on it. I'll get to the product details and everything later. Also all the products in this box are all full sized products so yay for that! 

Anyways onto the products!

I forgot to mention but the box smells so chocolatey it's really wonderful. The products are packed nicely together so the whole box is full. So now I'll be listing the products one by one in the order of what the sheet had listed it as. 

1. [Etude House] Milk Talk (Chocolate Milk) 200ml
Full size product: 200ml ($7)

Product Description: This adorably packaged body wash is one of Etude House's favourites among its fans for the heavenly sweet, chocolatey fragrance! Plus, it can be used as both a body wash and a bath milk - simply pour it in for a hot and bubbly chocolate bath.

How to use: Lather the body wash with a shower towel or a sponge and gently massage onto your body. For taking a bath, pour in about 15ml of the body wash into a tub of warm water and jump in when it starts to bubble up. 

My comment: I'm actually really glad I got this! I've always wanted to get this Milk Talk but I was always distracted by other cosmetics on my never-ending list so I never got to buy this. However I have really sensitive skin so I'm slightly worried on how this will fare on my body and I wonder if I have to give it away or something if it doesn't work for my body...

2. [WonderRuci] Cacao Brightening Mask 100g
Full size product: 100g ($38)

Product Description: Enjoy a luxurious aroma massage effect with this Cacao Brightening Mask right in your home! How to use: After toner application, spread the cacao mask evenly over your face, making sure to avoid the eye and lip areas. Rest for 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. 

My comment: Well this is the most expensive product on the list and it was the product that I predicted would go into this box. I was actually happy that my predictions right since this mask looks really interesting and since it looks, feels and smells like chocolate, it really fits in with the theme of this box. However I would probably have to clear my Innisfree Jeju Pore Mask before using this one.

3. [Pure Smile] Essence Mask Chocolate Milk 23ml
Full size product: 23ml ($1)

Product Description: Replenish your complexion into a baby-face with this Chocolate Milk Mask rich in milk protein nutrients, cacao extracts, vitamin E, and collagen which all work to hydrate and smooth out uneven skin texture.

How to use: After cleansing your face, place the mask sheet on. Rest for 15~20 minutes before removal. Gently pat in the remaining essence into your skin. 

My comment: Actually here's a fun story, I showed this Memebox to my Japanese host student and she said that she also has this mask (but her one is fruits) and there's actually a lot more different choices. However since this is a Korean beauty box I'm kind of curious as to why there's a Japanese product? But either way this mask seems to be pretty good so I can't wait to use it soon!

4. [Evas] Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Magic Cream Soap Coconut & Cacao 130g
Full size product: 130g ($18)

Product Description: While some cleansers with larger foam particles, excess vibration or friction can irritate the skin, this coconut and cacao-infused Cream Soap works gently thoroughly with micro foam particles that reach deeply into your pores, leaving your face refreshing clean and smooth.

How to use: Wash your hands clean first and lather the Cream Soap on your hands. Massage the foams onto your face from the inner towards the outer contours of the face. Then use your fingers to gently roll the foams. Rinse off with water and pat it dry. 

My comment: Well product gets many likes from me, with it's cute packaging and the soap itself it's super cute! Also I don't really have a proper 'cleanser other than my Innisfree cleansing tissues so if this works out for my skin then this will be perfect.

5. [Pure Smile] Choosy Lip Scrub Chocolate 25g
Full size product: 25g ($11)

Product Description: This gentle Choosy Lip Scrub is packed with all sorts of natural goodies - sugar, cacao extracts, bees wax, shea butter, jojoba oil, macadamia oil - for removing dead skins, deeply nourishing, and adding an extra luster to your dry, chapped lips. 

How to use: Gently roll the lip scrub on your dry lips. After massaging, remove the dead skins off with a warm towel or tissue. Apply a nourishing lip treatment to sooth and moisturize your lips. 

My comment: Thank you Memebox for this product! My lips have always been dry and it gets especially worse during Winter or when I'm sick so this will be really useful. But this also raises the same question to before as to why another Japanese product is in this Memebox. However I swear I'm not complaining at all! It's more of a curiousity question.

6. Puredem Nose Pore 6 Strips Choco Cacao 6ea
Full size product: 6ea ($6)

Product Description: This Nose Pore Strips Choco Cacao is a one-step pore care treatment specifically designed to unclog excess blackheads, whiteheads, dirt and oil piled up in your pores. You'll feel a dramatic difference after just one use.

How to use: Thoroughly wet your nose with water first, because the strip may not stick if nose is too dry. Apply the strip to moistened nose area with the shiny side facing your skin. Press down and smooth out any air bubbles. Let the strip dry for 10~15 minutes. The, slowly and carefully peel off the strip starting from the edges. Rinse of any residues with water. 

My comment: This is probably the product that I probably won't use in the box. However a friend of mine is willing to grab it so I'm going to give it to her as a present. I hope she gets the 'chocolatey nose' that she wanted. Haha good luck to her!

Final Comment: I'm very happy with this box in general and I love all the chocolate products that were placed in here! I also think that it's really a value for money, with or without discount and I would love to get another Memebox when I have the money and patience to wait for the shipping time.
